Provides Ng is an architectural designer and researcher bridging cybernetics, immersive tech, decentralised systems, and participatory design.
She is a Lecturer at Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL), and PhD candidate at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Active in Hong Kong’s cultural sector, she serves on the Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) and Development Bureau (DEVB) committees at the HKSAR, and holds leadership roles as the Treasurer of The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA).
Provides is the co-founder of two international R&D collectives — Current.cam and REAr_ — whose work spans AI applications in volumetric cinema and bio-inspired design, and had been recognised and exhibited worldwide, including Rijksmuseum Twenthe, Multimedia Art Museum Moscow, The Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, Athens Digital Arts Festival, UCLA Sci|Art, Matadero MediaLab Madrid, SCI-Arc, and other renowned organisations.
