Participatory Design is a design approach that focuses on collaboration and co-creation, which involves both expert and general intelligences in decision-making processes, with the aim of synthesising top-down and bottom-up approaches in design.
Contextualised in sustainable habitat production, this topic problematizes traditional client-contractor modes of exchange through participatory methods, while exploring alternative stakeholder-driven models and how emerging Metaverse tools may assist or fail in the process.
